I’ve been having Internet issues, so I couldn’t bring you this in real time like I usually do, but here’s a wrap-up of the 2012 National Dog Show, hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia.
Group Winners:
Working Group: Great Dane – James
Herding: Bearded Collie – Ms. Olivia
Hound Group: American Foxhound – Jewel
Sporting: Field Spaniel – Ginger
Non-Sporting: Tibetan Span – Tenzen
Terrier: Wire Fox – Skye
Toy: Affenpinscher – Joe
And the best in show winner was (drum roll please!) the Wire Fox Terrier, the same breed that won last year. Different dog, same breed.
Just as exciting, two new breeds made their debuts this year: the Treeing Walker Coonhound and the Russell Terrier.
