Shelter Sunday: MSPCA / Boston, MA

Brownie MAMeet Brownie! This Pit Bull Terrier is living in Boston, Massachusetts courtesy of MSPCA Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center. Here’s what their website has to say about this pretty girl.

Good day! My name’s Brownie, I’m a super sweet 8-year-old Pit Bull who came to the shelter because my owner had fallen on hard times and could no longer afford my care. My idea of the perfect day involves a couple leisurely walks and lots of time cuddled up on the couch with you. I’m an older gal so I’m definitely looking for a quieter home with lots of comfortable places to claim as my bed. If you’re home more often than not I would absolutely love that because I’m such a social girl but if you work regular hours I’ll just nap all day and cuddle with you all night. I’m such a sweetheart that I could get along with kids of most ages. I would prefer not to live with any cats or small animals but if you already have a dog companion at home please let us meet to see if we’ll be a good match. Do you have a spare couch, or two? Then come visit me today!

If you’re lucky enough to be in Massachusetts, why not contact the Boston MSPCA and ask to meet Brownie and all of her friends. Call (617) 522-5055 or visit the adoption center at 350 South Huntington Avenue.

If you’re somewhere else, check out PetFinder’s Shelter Center to locate adoptable dogs near you.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
