Meet Chinook! This beautiful boy is living in Las Vegas, Nevada courtesy of Doggie Protective Services Rescue. Here’s what their website has to say about this handsome Husky.
Chinook is a 10 month old Siberian Husky. He is exactly what one should think of an adolescent puppy who hasn’t had any training but has a super personality. First command he’ll need to learn is off! He loves to greet you and jump all over you. He is exuberant and happy and full of life. He is a clean slate waiting to be drawn upon and taught all the great things about being a well behaved dog.
Chinook was a rescue from the shelter. He gets along well with other big dogs. We have not had him with small dogs. Our boy will need a home that can meet his physical energy demands whether it’s having another dog that has the same energy level and a human that will engage him with activities like hiking, biking and running. Without another dog, the demand will be greater daily so his home will need to already be engaged in those activities.
Chinook is an option for older kids but any smaller will be instantly knocked over! He is a lover not a fighter but he’ll need folks who are ready for the Husky life. Click here for more information on things to consider for a Husky
