Shelter Sunday: Lander Pet Connection / Lander, WY

sweetie

Meet Sweetie! This beautiful girl and her six puppies are living in Lander, Wyoming, courtesy of Lander Pet Connection. Here’s what they have to say on their website about this beautiful hound:

What do you name a dog with a big heart spot on her back and a personality that makes you go “awwww”? Sweetie, of course! Sweetie is a pure bred Bluetick Coonhound, around two years old. She came to us pregnant and apparently had been enjoying the company of another Bluetick Coonhound, as her puppies came out looking just like her. Sweetie is completely house trained, great with kids and other dogs, and will make a wonderful addition to a person or family looking to add another member to their household. Sweetie is up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed by LPC once her puppies have been weaned. Sweetie will remain with her puppies at LPC until roughly mid-June when the puppies can be separated from her. We will take applications on her any time though; an approved application will hold her until she is ready to go. Sweetie’s adoption fee is $85.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Wyoming, why not contact Lander Pet Connection to find out more about Sweetie, her puppies, and all of her friends? Send an e-mail to [email protected] or call 307-330-5200.

If you’re somewhere else, check out PetFinder’s Shelter Center to locate adoptable dogs near you.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
