I’m so proud of my nephew, Andy, for standing up for this little puppy! From his Facebook post:
Saw this dog in my neighborhood the other day, it was 3 in the afternoon and over 90 degrees. No shade, no water! Now it takes a lot of nerve to walk up to a house in the country, knock on the door and confront a person on how they treat their pet. So I sent Heather. They weren’t home so we just moved the crate into the shade and gave the dog water. Called the sheriff and the dog warden and had them come out. Got a call back from the Athens county dog shelter saying that the dog had been removed, the owners were being “dealt with” and that they appreciated our help. I guess that makes me a hero!!
I agree – he is a hero!
