Shelter Sunday: Senior Dog Project / St. Louis, MO

Ingrid MOMeet Ingrid! This little cutie is residing in House Springs, Missouri, with St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Here’s what their website has to say about this adult Chihuahua.

Ingrid is a cute little chihuahua lady 5to 6 years old. She is retired breeder so is still a little shy. Give her a chance and she’ll love you for it. Her adoption fee of $225 includes spay, dental, microchip, all shots, heartworm test and worming.

Now, I have to say, I was never wild about Chihuahuas until I recently had one stay with me as a boarder. I now think they are AWESOME dogs! I had always assumed they would be yippy because many small dogs are, but the one I watched was a quiet snuggler. And don’t even get me started on the importance of adopting senior dogs rather than puppies. Almost makes me think I should go get Ingrid, but I think I’d be in trouble with three of my own plus boarders.

If you are lucky enough to be near the great state of Missouri, why not contact the Senior Dog Project and ask to meet Ingrid and all of her friends? Call 636-671-7223 or fill out their online adoption application.

If you’re somewhere else, check out our searchable database of adoptable dogs, powered by PetFinder.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
