Nothing like having a Metropolitan Opera star sing the National Anthem! It was absolutely beautifully done, and NYC firefighters presented the colors.
If you haven’t turned on your TV yet, look for FS1 in your channel line-up. Seems weird that David Frei won’t be announcing this year, but I’m hoping the FS1 announcers do a better job than the goofball on NatGeo Wild this afternoon. With any luck, these guys will actually understand the concepts behind a dog show.
I’ll be posting group winners from tonight’s show within about 5 minutes of when they’re announced, and may post a few random tidbits if I hear anything interesting on the show tonight, just in case you can’t be watching.
