My rescue believe it or not has a micro chip but it was registered to a shelter clear across the country. I kept her and had her registered with me. I sometimes wonder why a shelter would let her be adopted without activating this chip to the new owner.I have dog tags with my address and phone number also. My question do you you micro chip your dogs or only use dog tags?

Microchips should be mandated as a requirement for dog owners. This is a very helpful tool.
