I'm sorry for your loss. I also had to have Rubin put to sleep two years ago October. I miss him alot but if I see a dog that reminds me of him I enjoy watching that dog for a few minutes and it brings some of those fun moments back of when he was with me. I hope this will happen for you in time.

Rubin was a Chow Shepherd mix but was only 35 pounds and a beautiful reddish brown. He went deaf the last couple years of his life but we learned our own form of communication by hand signals and flickering lights. I'll tell thought after having Rubin almost 15 years I was spoiled. I have since gotten a new dog and boy I forgot what puppies can get into!
Great Danes are huge but wonderful dogs I wish you luck in having another one in the future. |

my 1st dog was a mut, a lab/collie cross, her name was Sarah. of course to me she was beautiful, i got her at a humane society when she was a pup, and she was with me 14 years. healthy and happy, playful, loveable, she was truly my best friend. She died in 2002, and i still think about her EVERY DAY. Yes, I do have another dog now, I love this one too, but no other could take the place of my Sarah. I know your heartbreak, but that's what makes life so worth living, is the joy one has with our loved ones around us while we live. I hope you do get another dog someday, the bond will be a different one, but fulfilling just the same
I'd love to see a picture of your dog/ paulski45@hotmail.com
