Default Wanting a pug

Hey everyone im shauna i am currently on ssi and i am looking for a pug, but with this recession i am not able to get one until my bills go down, i am trying to clean up my house, and i am also trying to get my father to help me out with picking it up, so that way when i do get a pug itll be perfect, was wondering, does anyone kno were i can find a pug around the massachutes area, and for cheep, i would prefer a baby because i can train it easier? im a little depressed cause i was supposed to get a 3 yr old pug for free, but the owner couldnt get away from it Aslo we were especting a pug but for 600 dollers, and not until july, and thats a lil steep, i mean, i also just put my greatdane down in oct so i am a lil depressed still on putting her down, she was 9 yrs old, she was an old dog, i miss her dearly!!!

Hi, I am sorry for your loss. Give yourself time to grieve for your great dane.

When you, your whole family, and the house are ready try a local rescue...here we have breed specific rescues. They will have you fill out an application and will make a home inspection. If you are a renter they will have to have a signed statement from the landlord that you can have a dog. They will ask you questions like how much time will the dog be alone, how will you safely exercise the dog (fenced yard, leash walks, dog kennel appropriate to the size of the dog), and if you can afford vet care and food. Do not be offended by these questions, they just want the best placement for the dog and for you. Most of the time the rescue dogs come fully vetted (current on shots, spayed/neutered etc). Do not discount the love an older dog can give you...they will most likely be socialized and potty trained. A puppy is non stop cleaning, more expensive, and very active no matter what the breed. You need to be able to take it to vet, training classes...and hourly visits outside to potty. I hope this information helps. [
