My mom and I moved from Maine to Texas in a Jeep with my 7-year-old brother, my obese cat, and my rowdy Boxer in the back seat. All I can say is Benedryl. I love you, Benedryl. The cat was a zombie, the dog was a zombie. Not one dual the whole four-day drive, and we normally have them every hour or so. Benedryl is perfectly fine for cats and dogs, vets even reccomend it (which is how we learned to use it) and they just sleep like little angels. It works wonders. Granted the dog wouldn't go near a car for months, but nonetheless, the trip was monumantally easier (not to be confused with easy) with my bestfriend, Benedryl.
