I have no idea whether or not this is true, but here’s the scoop from TaurusArmed.com. This is the story of a Garage Owner in the East of Northampton who gave his dog a haircut.
He was sick and tired of thieves breaking into his garage shop to steal tools, etc.
So he came up with this idea to give his dog a haircut. He put the word out that he had a new Mexican Lion that would attack anyone that tried to break in or climb his fence.
Would-be thieves saw the “Lion” from a distance and fled the scene.
I’ve always thought it would be fun to bring one of my dogs to work with me. I’m not sure whether they’d behave, or if they would even think it was a good idea, but I think I’d love it! What about you?
Most of these are from this year, but there are a few from archives of previous years. You’ll note there are a lot for Doritos – not necessarily because I like Doritos but because they held a contest for their fans to create ads, and there were many to choose from. I’m sure not all of them made it to air, but the top 20 are on the Doritos website for your enjoyment. Continue reading Tuesday Top Ten: Dog-Related Super Bowl Commercials→
Our house was broken into last night by two robbers who locked me in the bathroom, and proceeded to steal all they could carry. Our watchdog ‘Killer’ did not alert us at all, and for this reason we are giving him away. We no longer want this dog. We’ve decided on installing an electric fence and detection devices with alarms. They’re cheaper to maintain and definitely more reliable. For those interested in adopting the dog please send an e-mail immediately. ‘Killer’ is fun to hang out with, but otherwise pretty useless. A recent photo of ‘Killer’ is included below. Continue reading Free to a Good Home→
As I’m sure everyone already knows, this weekend is the big game, the Super Bowl. While I’m not much of a football fan I do look forward to the funny and creative ads aired on Super Bowl Sunday. Of course if the ads include dogs so much the better!
There will be several ads aired featuring dogs this Super Bowl. Here is a sneak preview.
First up is this Suzuki sled-dog themed ad featuring 8-year-old Husky Nitro tapping his paw to the beat:
Another Super Bowl dog ad is for Volkswagen, featuring 3-year-old Saint Bernard and Australian Shepherd mix Bolt (in a fat-suit!) inspired by a car to slim down and get healthy. He even hits a treadmill! Continue reading Super Bowl Ads Have Gone to the Dogs→

We posted yesterday about a church in California that now allows dogs to attend services. Would you take your dog to church with you if given the opportunity?
