Seven months is a long time to be separated from your best friend. For the bargain basement price of an implanted microchip, reunification was possible.
Make sure your dogs ALWAYS have an ID tag and / or a microchip! I recommend both because the average person on the street won’t have the capability to scan for a chip, but can easily contact you from the ID tags when your dog is found.
This past weekend was family reunion weekend for the Philley clan. Although I wasn’t about to descend on my mom’s condo with all four of my dogs, I did get my doggy fix from my brother’s dog, Matilda, and my sister’s ancient Chihuahua, Archie.
