Sorry, folks, I just couldn’t bring myself to write a fun survey for today. My heart bleeds for the citizens of France.
May the Source of Peace bring peace to all those who mourn.
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'” ~ Mr. Rogers
From all of us at doggies.com and breeders.net, our deepest thanks to our veterans, both 2-legged and 4-legged for defending the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are awed by your courage and sacrifice.
The dog lady is in Italy this week! I don’t think I’ll be able to post from there, but I will take lots of pictures if I run into any Italian Greyhounds or Neapolitan Mastiffs and will post them next week.
I’ve got posts lined up for this week, so you shouldn’t miss me too much!
Don’t forget: your dog will be much happier at home than at the fireworks display tonight. More dogs are lost on 4th of July than on any other day. They get really scared and try to escape their terror by running. Home = safety.
Celebrate May’s being National Pet Month with this very easy contest! Simply take an original photo of your pet, then fill out this form before May 25, 2015 at 11:59:59 central time.
Five grand prize winners get a Dyson.
Five first place winners get a Bissell.
Five second place winners get a Hoover.
Wishing all of you moms out there a restful and peaceful Mothers’ Day with children who behave as well as these guys at the moment this picture was taken.
Just in case you didn’t know, both doggies.com and our sister site, breeders.net, have Facebook pages. The doggies.com page carries funny, heartwarming, and newsworthy information about dogs in general, while the breeders.net page focuses more specifically on purebreds.
The doggies page is getting awfully close to 10,000 likes – I’d sure love to see us break that record!
If you haven’t already done so, pop over to Facebook and give us a big thumbs up by clicking “Like Page”.
