Yesterday I posted that Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi had pledged to pay the adoption fees of every dog in the KC Pet Project shelter. Not to be outdone, Coors Light is now promising to help with adoption fees across the country from now until February 21, 2020. Here’s how it works:

First of all, you don’t have to buy a beer, unless you want to. Secondly, go to your favorite shelter or rescue and pick up a dog. Next, text COORS4k9 to 28130, along with a picture of your receipt from the shelter or rescue. They will help 1,000 dogs, as a Valentine’s gift to the canine world.

Coors Light will reimburse you up to $100 after they double check with the shelter to make sure you’re legit.

The nitty gritty:
You must be over 21
Residents of California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia may not participate.

It’s a great time to add a dog to your family! (Of course, there is no bad time.)

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
