Last week, we listed the priorities Republican dogs might have if they ran Congress. Now it’s the Democratic dogs’ turn.
1o. Abolish spay/neuter – give each dog the right to choose.
9. Develop a way to use dog waste as fuel.
8. Re-elect Bo in 2012.
7. Require all families to purchase pet health insurance.
6. Provide social security and medicare to all senior dogs, regardless of country of origin.
5. Allow family leave for events related to four-legged children, as well as to two-leggers.
4. Cut taxes only for middle-class dogs. (French Poodles need not apply.)
3. Allow stem-cell cloning to perpetuate successful breeding bloodlines.
2. Create a minimum wage for working dogs.
1. Affirmative action for military dogs: break the current German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois stronghold.
