Food Bank for Pets

Here in Ohio, March is Harvest for Hunger month, when we all try to set aside a little something to help feed those in need.  Now, in Cleveland there’s an organization called Peace for Animals that has started a food bank for pets.

The goal of Peace for animals is to provide a temporary source of nutritious pet food for pets of families who are facing tough financial setbacks in Northeast Ohio.  They are getting ready to host their Second Annual Pet Party, a fundraiser, although the exact date and location haven’t yet been set.

Their other needs:

  • Delivery vehicle (small SUV or minivan) This is a top of the list, desperate need!
  • Gift cards to pet stores (used to purchase pet food and supplies)
  • Shelving
  • Newer laptop computer
  • Newer desktop computer
  • Any pet food and all food must be fresh and unopened

If you would like to help, please call 216-769-6769.

Until next time,

Good day, and good dog!
