What’s really in your dog’s food?

ABC US News | International News
ABC News is reporting on a lawsuit between Purina and Blue Buffalo regarding the ingredients that go into pet food.

Purina says Blue Buffalo is falsely advertising that they do not include poultry by-products in their food, when in fact, an independent review found these by-products in the Blue Buffalo food.

Blue Buffalo, on the other hand, says they have never purchased even “one kernel of corn or one ounce of poultry by-product meal.” So says Blue Buffalo founder Bill Bishop. They are counter-suing, saying that Purina has defamed their good name.

Purina feels so strongly about the issue they’ve started a whole new website about Pet Food Honesty.

The two companies are in court to work it out. Nothing like a good cat fight over dog food!

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
