NJ Woman Sentenced for Killing Dog Over a Parking Dispute

When Haniyyah Barnes and her neighbor argued over parking on a shared driveway, Barnes took the fight way too far when she hurled the neighbor’s Shih Tzu into heavy traffic. She has now been sentenced to four years, with credit for six months of time already served.

Barnes must also pay $2,000 to her neighbor and perform 30 days of animal welfare-related community service following her release from prison.
