If you are looking to add a new furry friend to your family soon, why not go to PetSmart this weekend. They are sponsoring A Second Chance for Love adoption weekend February 13 -15, 2009 at all of their stores, in cooperation with Hills brand dog foods. The goal is to find homes for 13,500 pets in need. They suggest you call your local store to check on what times the adoption agencies will be in each store.

Had fried tomatoes at HodgePodge in Liberty Park. Those were amesowe and a lot of food for $5. Their loaded HodgePodge Dawg looked amesowe (wrapped in bacon, topped with BBQ and short ribs) looked amesowe, but was too full to have one. Grabbed a cuban sandwich from Cafe con Leche in front of Ricos. It was good, pretty darn good, but took like 10 minutes, and was over-priced at $10. Also went to check out the Chow location around 1:45, but was disappointed to only find Roxy’s, Chow, and a super-long line, so we left. Does anyone know if the trucks are still around tomorrow?
