Two adult female dogs fell down the air conditioning shaft below an abandoned building several days ago. One of the dogs ended up giving birth to three puppies before someone noticed the dogs and contacted the fire department for rescue assistance.
Firefighters were able to entice one adult and all three puppies onto a tarp and raise them using ropes. However, the last dog wouldn’t come out until one of the men climbed 70 feet through a concrete tunnel and carried her out.
The woman who first noticed the dogs will be fostering them. She had been scouring the area looking for her own lost puppy, who has not yet been found.
So glad there was a happy ending for these abandoned pups.
