The Cincinnati Zoo (in my opinion, the best zoo in the world!) recently added a baby cheetah to their menagerie. Singleton cheetahs will be ignored by the mother – there must be at least two babies for her to pay attention, so the baby, Kris, is being raised by hand.
Since she needs to learn how to play and behave, she has been paired with her own emotional support animal, Remus, who is (of all things) a dog!
As you can see from the video, Kris was a little wary upon first meeting Remus, but she has warmed up and now plays rough and tumble every day with her new friend. Here’s a more recent video, taken as they are exploring their outdoor yard.
