So look who came to live at my house this weekend! This is Checkers! She belonged to a breeder in West Virginia, but turned out to have demodectic mange, which is hereditary, meaning she couldn’t be shown. The breeder thought she’d have an awful time finding a home for Checkers as “just” a pet, but it turns out we have a mutual friend who hooked us up.
She’s a 1-year old Treeing Walker Coonhound, and you know how I feel about hounds! I’m in love already.
When you work for a company named BrewDog, you might expect there to be some canine-related parts to your job. But I don’t think anyone expected this.
