And a partridge in a pear tree…

Christmas CardI got the cutest Christmas card from my friend Sandy in the mail yesterday – just had to share it with you. The front is the picture you see here, and the inside text reads:

Twelve Dalmations drumming

Eleven Spaniels sleeping

Ten magnificent mutts

Nine Poodles prancing

Eight Rottweilers ringing

Seven Labs a leaping

Six German Shepherds

Five Golden Retrievers

Four Beagles begging

Three Dachshunds dashing

Two Terriers toasting

And a Pomeranian in a pear tree!

What a great idea! (For a card, not for real Christmas gifts for your true love – I’m guessing s/he’d throw you out to make room for all those dogs!)

Now, back to the cute picture. I get the Holy Family, the angel, the 3 wise men / kings, and the lamb and donkey, but what is the dog in the lower left corner supposed to be – the one with the short white ears for his costume?

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
