Meet Sylvia! I had to choose her for our Shelter Sunday feature this week because she looks so cute in her Christmas ribbon. She is currently living in foster care with the Tails of Hope Sanctuary in Mt. Airy, MD. Here’s what their website has to say about this adorable Chihuahua.

This petite sweetie was found roaming the streets with her son Chester. Sylvia is calm, quiet, and very friendly. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom, and will even share a lap with cats or other dogs. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash and rides well in the car.
Sylvia loves to play and go for walks. She has outgrown her puppiness but is by no means ready to nap her life away! She is a perfect mix of love and playfulness- she has even grown fond of the smallest members of her foster home (a litter of kittens!) Sylvia also does well with other dogs, especially if they are gentle but love to play!
Sylvia is melting hearts wherever she goes- you just can’t help but fall in love with that little face! If she sounds like the perfect pet for you, don’t wait too long to put in an application; Sylvia is ready for her forever home!
