Meet Benny! This 10-year old poodle is living in Rhode Island, complements of Animals Depend on People Too (ADOPT). Here’s what their PetFinder entry has to say about this handsome boy.
EVERYONE is overlooking this little guy because of his age!! BENNY is a 10 year old toy poodle. He is 15 lbs. This little guy has been through quite a bit of turmoil over the last year. Benny and his human dad were inseparable until illness and death took him away in February. Then in March his human mom died suddenly. Benny is loving and affectionate with people. Benny was partially housebroken, but over the last year he has started urinating in the house because he was neglected as his human became more ill. He will need to be retrained once he has stability back in his life. Benny has been around children and is fine with them but he is food and toy aggressive so we will not adopt to a family with small kids. He is great with other dogs and cats and grew up with both. Benny has no medical issues and did get excellent care. Poor little guy, his world was turned upside-down. Please consider letting this little guy into your life. He will shower you with unconditional love and bring a smile to your face with his puppy-like antics.
