This is from a few years ago, but I just found it. As a former foster parent and current adoptive parent, I think helping traumatized children is a great way to put a dog to work.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

Haven’t made a donation yet for Giving Tuesday? There’s still time! Pick out a local shelter or rescue and give them a little love today. Don’t know where to give? The ASPCA has a locator, and most shelters have a donation page on their websites.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
The Delaware Humane Association is pleased to announce the adoption of Major by Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill. The couple fell in love with the dog after fostering him in their home.
According to the Delaware Humane Association Facebook page, “Major was 1 of 6 puppies who were brought to DHA after coming in contact with something toxic in their home. Their original owner was unable to afford veterinary care so they surrendered. With the help of our friends at VSCD, together we provided lifesaving care, shared their story here and that we were looking for fosters for them. Joe Biden caught wind of them and the rest is history!”
What a great start to the holiday season!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
