Pebble Smart Doggie Doorbell

Tired of your dog scratching up your door, door frame, and / or storm door when it’s time to come back in the house? There’s a new product out called the PebbleSmart Doggie Doorbell.

I haven’t tried it out yet, but according to the makers, this wireless door chime is very easy to install and train your dog to use. It can be placed either inside your home to alert you when your dog needs to go out, or outside your home to tell you it’s time to come in.

The inventor of the product taught his Whippet, Pebble, to use the contraption in just a few hours. Each unit comes with installation instructions and a training plan using positive training techniques.

This product is now available for pre-order on Indiegogo, a crowd-funding site where your payment for the product is helping them raise the funds to have the product commercially produced. (The inventor is currently making them by hand.)

The cost for one unit is $30, and there are price breaks for ordering multiple units at the same time, either to cover the inside and outside of the same door or to outfit multiple doors.

Check them out on Facebook or YouTube.

Sounds like a winner to me!

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
