Meet Disel! This 4-year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix is living in Des Moines, Iowa, courtesy of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. Here’s what their website has to say about this handsome fella:
Looking for a handsome guy who’s good-natured, super sweet and just a little bit goofy? Meet Disel! This guy LOVES to play with squeaky toys and enjoys just being active and keeping his body moving. He’ll enjoy a daily walk, hike or jog, but be sure to pick up a front-clip harness for him to help him work on his pulling. Everything is just so cool and exciting, it’s sometimes hard for him to remember to pace himself for the person on the other end of the leash. Once he’s had some exercise, he’ll love to plop down in your lap and relax. Disel hasn’t been worked with a whole lot, but he does know sit and is very treat-motivated, so with positive training, he could learn all those good doggie skills. He doesn’t always like to share his food or treats and prefers to be fed somewhere where he can be alone and not have to worry about that. He has lived with cats and other dogs and is the kind of guy who is sure to keep you upbeat. We can’t help but smile when we see his happy, waggy tail and huge grin!
