8/11/14: He has been with us now about three days. He is such a good boy. He had gotten along very well with his foster brother Duke and sister Frannie. Frannie seems to really just want to play with him all the time! After all he has the same energy level as she does! Play Play Play
He walks very well on a leash. With very little correction he will stay at your left side. He does not bark at the people he meets or sees while on the walk or while he is outside in the yard.
He knows the command for sit. That’s about it. We will continue to work on the others such as leave it, come etc. He does not show any signs of food aggression but does not want to wait his turn yet to get his bowl. This is also something we will work with. I have no doubt that he will pick these things up very quickly as he seems to be very smart and treat oriented. He still needs to be lead to the kennel when its time to go to bed or leave the house. He will, however, quiet down very quickly. If he hears you walking around in the house he will bark and howl though.
