Shelter Sunday: Oklahoma Beagle Rescue / Norman, OK

Morty OKMeet Morty! This old boy is living in Norman, Oklahoma, courtesy of Oklahoma Beagle Rescue. Here’s what their website has to say about him:

On the coldest day in Oklahoma history, Mortimer (Morty), an older heartworm positive beagle boy and his best friend, and protector, Marvin, a short haired corgi mix, were tied with electrical tape to a lone fence in the country, and abandoned, without shelter or protection. Doomed and unable to even huddle together for warmth and comfort, they bravely faced the harsh bitterly cold wind alone and accepted their fate. Miraculously someone saw the two friends laying nose to nose in the icy wind and RSR/OKBR was contacted.

Marvin has been adopted and Morty is very sad without him. His heart worm treatment IS OVER and he has been neutered and is READY FOR A HOME of his own like his buddy Marvin so he can be a happy boy again surrounded in the love Marvin always gave him!! He is a great house dog who does well with everything.

Please come consider him! He needs you!
