Picasso, the dog who would NOT be put down

Have you met Picasso yet? According to CBS affiliate WIAT, Picasso and his brother, Pablo, were to be put down in a high kill southern California shelter, but were rescued before the unthinkable happened.

Vets say his facial deformity is nothing to be concerned about, and both Picasso and his brother are being cared for at Luvable Dog Rescue in Eugene, OR. Picasso will undergo dental surgery before he is available for adoption. You can contribute to their care or apply to be the lucky person who gets to take the dog(s) home on their website.

The dogs sure have captured a bunch of media attention, having been featured on The Dodo, Buzzfeed, and the Huffington Post!

Adorable pictures are up on Facebook.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
