I posted earlier this week about the new K-9 Cops on Animal Planet, and how much I like it. My son, on the other hand, can’t live without seeing It’s Me or the Dog. That got me to wondering what shows you might like.

Purina Incredible Dog Challenge in Atlanta
The Purina Incredible Dog Challenge was at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on April 2nd. All breeds of dogs were welcome, participating in dog diving, agility, weave-pole races, Jack Russell racing, and freestyle Frisbee events. They even fielded a baseball team. The videos from these Eastern Regional Finals are available on BarkNet. There was no way for me to embed them here -sorry! You’ll have to make due here with the still photos they sent along.

Final Results from 2011 Crufts
Not much time this morning, so just the highlights from the Big Show in England.
Utility Group Best in Group: Ch Vicmars Rave On (Theo), a Standard Poodle who lives with Mrs. S. Pine-Haynes in Surrey.
Toy Group Best in Group: Ch Pamplona Bring Me Sunshine (Eric), a Bichon Frise, from Preston, where he lives with Michael Coad.
Best in Show: The Flat-Coated Retriever named Jet, owned by J. M. Irvine.
