Flying Chihuahuas????
We posted a few weeks ago about the good work Katherine Heigl did in providing funding for a project to transport Chihuahuas from a California shelter to Nahua for adoption. (See the original post here.) Chihuahuas have recently surged as a status symbol in southern California, but many of the dogs are ending up in shelters when they don’t meet their owners’ expectations.

Archie, One of Cleveland Clinic’s Therapy Dogs
Seems like lately I have met lots of therapy dogs at hospitals around Northeastern Ohio. (I think that means I’m spending too much time there.) Anyways, we were recently at the Cleveland Clinic, following up on the stroke my oldest son had a few years ago, and met Archie, one of their star therapy dogs. He wasn’t real interested in posing for his picture, but what a handsome boy!
