Those of you who are totally against Pit Bulls need to read this heartwarming story from the Humane Society shelter in Redmond, Oregon, where a 10-year old blind Cocker Spaniel named Chadwick was adopted in November.
Tuesday Top Ten: Ways Dogs Communicate
When I asked my son what I should write about today, he said he wanted me to write about how Penny (my beagle, that Jimmy thinks is his) scratches on his bedroom door to get in at night. We started talking about how dogs talk to us, which of course Jimmy pointed out that they cannot do. The more we talked the more I was convinced I could come up with at least ten ways our dogs communicate, so here goes.

Meet Blitz! Blitz is a 2yo purebred blue merle Aussie girl. She’s has one blue eye, one brown eye and a docked tail. She was turned in with Lillie at the shelter, as an ex breeder dog. She is a rambunctious little gal for sure and we are working on getting her to stay down, she loves to jump on people! She is really a great dog, especially when she settles down. She loves to cuddle when she does settle down and she always has kisses to give. She is a little slow to warm up to some men, but loves women.Saturday Survey: Best in Show at the National Dog Show

Looking for a cute photo op for your dog? PetSmart stores nationwide will again offer Santa Claws events each weekend in December, where you can have your dog’s picture taken with Santa. We did this years ago, and it turned out really cute.
